Changes to Your Tenancy Agreement - Housing (Scotland) Act 2014

Most of the provisions from the Housing (Scotland) Act 2014 come into force from 1 May 2019 with the exception of the provisions on joint tenancy, assignation,subletting and succession for Scottish secure and short Scottish securetenancies which come into force from 1 November 2019.

Tenant's won't have to sign a new Tenancy Agreement and new tenants will continue to use the old tenancy agreement until 1st May 2019. Everyone will receive a copy of a letter provided by the Scottish Government which highlights the changes to your rights.
